Burj dubai Helicopter view

January 12, 2009 at 2:39 am (burj, Burj dubai, Dubai, Emaar, highest building, world's tallest)

Amazing view on the highest building in the world.

Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building a record of 818m metres height and the building, the centrepiece of Emaar‘s US$20 billion Downtown Burj Dubai project.
In 2008, Burj Dubai achieved the distinction of being the world’s tallest structure surpassing the KVLY-TV mast (628.8 meters; 2,063 ft) in North Dakota, USA. The tower is already taller than Taipei 101 in Taiwan, which at 508 metres (1,667 ft) was the tallest building in the world when it opened in 2004. Burj Dubai also surpassed the 31-year-old record of CN Tower, which at 553.33 metres (1,815.5 ft) has been the world’s tallest free-standing structure on land since 1976.

Abondoned cars in dubai-

January 12, 2009 at 2:25 am (Abondoned cars, cars, Dubai, Dubai Airport, Dubai Airports, dubai crisis, Dubai police, dubai properties)

  • 65 cars were abandoned at Dubai airport and seized by the police by the end of 2008
  • 22 cars were removed from Dubai airport by police “recently”
  • 1450 cars were claimed back by banks in 2007 (not just abandoned at the airport) – about 28 cars per week
  • 3200+ cars were claimed by banks in 2008 – about 60 cars per week.

More than 3,000 cars have been abandoned by owners to escape loan payments, just over double the figure in 2007, a senior police official has revealed.
Police recently removed 22 cars dumped at Dubai International Airport after owners fled the country leaving a trail of debt behind. Cars have also been abandoned at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
In Dubai last year 3,241 cars were claimed by the banks, he said. Of these 466 had been impounded by police. “The percentage of such incidences rose last year. In 2007, 1,450 cars were claimed by banks. In 2008, the number increased by 123 per cent,” said Col Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, deputy director of traffic department at Dubai Police.
he said. “A lot of times people just leave. You get a credit card and loans and then you lose your job. What to do? Go home. It’s something that all banks are facing.
The seized cars will end up as lots in an auction or on the floor of car showrooms. Golden Belt, an auction house based in Al Aweer, Dubai, holds car auctions every week where many cars taken back by banks are sold off. Among them are expensive sports cars such as Porsches and BMWs.

private source said, that around 460 cars were found parked with keys inside, in Dubai Airport parking lot, which assumes of people terminated who fled the country leaving these cars.

How many more it will be ?

Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 On BitTorrent Leaked and NamiPan Download

December 28, 2008 at 11:58 am (Beta, Bittorent, Microsoft, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows 7, Namipan, Windows 7)

Windows 7 beta 1 DVD ISO Torrent Download has been leaked. Tthe leak has been from Chinese County as well as Windows 7 Beta 1 has build 7000 (6.1.7000.0). Good news is that the Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 is available as DVD ISO image which far easier to install. it’s a bit more stable than the versions people have been playing with for a few months. Hit the links below to get a copy, if you’re OK with the fact that you’re technically not supposed to have this just yet.
[My Digital Life via BlogsDNA via Technovedad via Download Squad]

or

To download the Windows 7 Beta1 full ISO image, download the following torrent to download the content in any BT client:

Demonoid Link: Windows_7_Beta_1_7000_0_081212_1400_iso_o-Demonoid.com-o.torrent
Mininova Link: 7000 [mininova].torrent

Another alternative way to download is by using Namipan file hosting (net disk or web drive space) service. Namipan is a China based file hosting service. As the Windows 7 Beta1 full DVD ISO is in hot demand, the HTTP download has been disabled. Thus, those who intends to download the ISO through Namipan must download NamiRobot (some interface in English, mostly in Chinese), which also serves as a peer-to-peer (P2P) downloader. Download and install the NamiRobot by using one of the direct download links below:

The beta expires July 1, 2009

Update: ZDNet also has a look at the beta over here, and they concur that it’s pretty good:

# This beta is of excellent quality. This is the kind of code that you could roll out and live with. Even the pre-betas were solid, but finally this beta feels like it’s “done.” This beta exceeds the quality of any other Microsoft OS beta that I’ve handled.
